As always, full of nonstop action, heart pounding suspense, and heartbreak. At times I was laughing, the next in tears. Mr. Salkin truly knows how to draw in his readers. Make them feel like they are smack dab in the middle of the action. You feel like one of the members of THE TEAM.
I love this series! You will to.

This was the best of the three, though all are excellent. Realistic chaos and coping with best of bad options. Fabulous characters. I already miss them.
This is a great follow up to the first two of these books. Highly recommend if you like these types of military stories. I couldn't put it down - had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen.
Book one was primarily an introduction to the characters with just enough story to bring you back for book two. Book two was good, and book three was great.
I found myself both laughing and crying with the characters in this installment. The author did an excellent job with plot development literally making you feel each loss with the team.
David Salkin has done a great job with this series. Each one has gotten better and more believable. I love that the good guys always win, though they all don't always make it.
I really enjoyed this book. The whole series is an excellent series, but this one I thought was amazing. It saddened me at the end, but it was well worth the read and I would recommend it.
Was a little hard to read as the African names were tough and I would stumble on the pronunciation of them and also some of the Chinese names and the cities, too. Could you add a chapter on how to say these tough names and cities? Other than that , the story was great, the chase scenes in the Capital city had my heart racing and I wished I could read faster. After reading Salkin's Book One, Two, and Three, I am a FAN, hungering for a Book Four! As in the two previous books, an unusual CIA-SEAL-Army Ranger team always has a civilian cover as it combats anti-US interests."Into Africa" features the team, under the guise of a Canadian fish company, sent to Congo to determine if the activities of a Chinese group are philanthropic or subversive.. As is often the case, we learn that our government imposes Rules of Engagement and political correctness on the military that can result negatively on American service personnel. David Salkin combines lots of dramatic tension with sympathetic information about the Congolese people.
